I'm just wondering if Dr. jr. can play Orge Battle right out of the box or if there's some crack needed. Also there was a V64 redump of the game, why is there a redump, can't you just bite flip it to the V64 format? Was there something wrong with the first release?

Just wondering.

P.S. There's a Ogre Battle 64 review up at videogames.com (http://www.videogames.com/n64/strsim/ogreb3/). They gave it a 9.1

P.P.S. On Bung's site, they said if you get the jr. now, the shipping is free.

The size of the first dump was bigger than it was supposed to be I think. It probably has flash-ram protection and maybe a security chip too. If Titanik isn't getting a new V jr. then the crack might not come out for a while because he wouldn't be able to test it.

The nil release of Orge Battle works fine on the V64jr 512Mbit. There is no protection, (ie different cic chip). However, it does require a country lockout fix if your running it on a pal unit. http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/wink.gif

The game is heavy on the jap... i didnt like it much ;P

zldsc, if you have the game right out of the box, why would you want to dump it with the JR?

Only the 512k Jr could laod it anyway.

He didn't say he wanted to dump it and it's 512mbit not 512k.
