Premier Manager 64: How to get this bastard to work on an NTSC system?

Could anyone help me with Premier Manager 64? I can't get it to work on my NTSC system. I've tried Paladin 2.2 with very unpleasant results. The Paradox fix doesn't fix the videomode.

Please help me! I'm desperate! :´)

Hotblack was saying it has some sort of pack/unpack routine that paladin can't handle.. So no NTSC fix.. unless someone sits down and actually figures it out..

Seemed to work fine on my NTSC machine with the Paradox fix.
Only played it once for about half an hour though as I wasn't overly impressed with the game.

Moz you got a PAL TV , if so thats why Paradox fix works on NTSC machines with Pal Teles

Yep, I do have a PAL TV, so thats why mine works =)

Yeh I have a PAL TV but it has 2 modes
PAL I which is your UK broadcast 625 lines at 50HZ, and PAL II which is NTSC standard 525 lines at 60HZ. I bought it specially when I got my N64 imported.
So yeh if you are running on a decent TV all should be ok just download the patch from Dextrose.

I have an NTSC N64 and a multi-mode TV (PAL/SECAM/NTSC). When I play PM 64, it runs fine, but in black and white.

Is there anything that I can do to get this to run in color, or am I in the unlucky bunch that must wait for a proper NTSC-fix for this game?

Don't bother. Get Ultimate Soccer Manager98 or CM3 for your PC. They're both miles better than this shite. Better still, wait for EA's FA Premier League Manager 2000. If they sort out the bugs of the prequel, it'll be incredible.

Yeh true Ranxta, this game is shit, plus it's only just come out but it's a season behind on stats already, at least it is with my team Brentford (Barmy Army!!!).
Do get CM3 and get updated stats etc from their site.
If you absolutely must play this game, and it does sound like you have the same set-up as me, then apply the patch found here on Dextrose and it will work fine in colour.

Yes, well, I am using the Paradox patch which, as I understand it, is just a country-fix and not a video-fix. My tv's only three years old, but I guess it doesn't have all the greatest features. Oh well, I don't want this to turn into a patch-request-thread. You're right, I can live without this game. Thanks anyway.

The patch fixed my version to 525 lines fullscreen I believe. Not sure why yours won't go.
