Hi !

I think it would be great if there was an option in Paladin to make a APS backup file, instead of backing up the entire rom..

Hotblack: Is this possible to put in the next release of Paladin ?

btw Hotblack, I havenīt recived your adress, so I canīt send you that memory expansion-pak I promised.....

Yep, now http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/smile.gif
But I wanted a APS file instead of a backup file, I mean that the APS file should restore the rom to original if Paladin dosnīt work...

Itīs easier to store a 10KB APS file as a backup then a 32MB rom http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/wink.gif

Yeah !, 300SEK is a good price for Paladin !

Said and done..

Wouldn't it be nice if instead of making a Paladined rom and a backup rom, making a APS file and leaving the original rom intact.
This way you only have to put the rom and APS file on zipdisk.

Ofcourse this would be usefull only if you have an Z64.

But it's something I would like.

Come on....

If you really want this, than do it yourself - it's sooo easy http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/wink.gif

Patch with PALadin and use apsmake to make patches in both directions...

Hehe.. Well, all the "programing" I know is html, will that be enough ? http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/wink.gif

Hmm.. I havenīt thought of that, thanks for the tip !

Btw, are you working on (or gonna start on) a Windows version of Paladin ?
It would be great with a program that opens a menu when you click with your right mousebutton on a file, and there you can choose things like "Remove Country protection" and "Convert videotables" and some other stuff..

If you donīt want/can do such a program, It must be people out there that wants to, or can help.. (I donīt know what programing languages you know, I understand if you donīt want to write a Windows program in Assembler http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/smile.gif

With a menu on the right mousebutton I mean a sub-menu next to "copy, cut, properties, open"...
