Flash-Rom save adaptor for Bung Products / v64 and v64jr

As u may know alot of the new games out on the market seem to be
using Flash-Rom saves now, which so far there is no way to save,
now i am going to be straight forward about this and not say some
bullshit like i backup my legal games, or some dumb shit, i pirate
all my games, n64, psx, and pc, i am in a warez group, and i dont mean one of the bullshit one where people beg for games, anyway you
dont care about this, so what i want to ask your company is will u
release a Flash-Rom save pack ? I have never bought a game in my
life and dont intend starting anytime soon, and i have many n64
roms that are Flash-Rom i dont play becuase i can not save, and
this is not enough to make me buy them, i just dont play them...
Now if you where to release a Flash-Rom save i would be the first
to buy it, I know that the n64 system is coming to a end but i feel
that with all of us out there asking for a way to save Flash-Rom
games u would profit greatly from selling this unit as a addon in
the fine line of products your company makes already......

Can you tell me if u have any plans on making such a device ?

Now for all u people out there who me saying i pirate all my shit
angers, owell... Most of us got are n64 backup units for the soul
reason of free games. Now what i want from all u fine people out
there in Rom-Land, it to post a little message here under mine saying
if u want or dont want a Flash-Rom save adapter for your v64 or v64jr
I hope if enough people say that they are willing to pay for such a
adaptor Bung will make one for us....

Hehehe corse i guess i can always email the Big N and tell them we all
pirate there shit anyway, and they should make us a Flash-Rom adapter
and make all the cash before bung does, LOL can ya imagine the the

Yeh, well, Personally, I don't pirate ANY games. I use my Dr64 for the sole purpose of backing up my originals and for development.
Nah, not really, i'm just a sad leach, but what can I do? I've got no programming skills, i'm shit at maths and I don't earn a lot of money. I'm NOT going to pay £40-£50 for a game that will probably turn out to be either shite or not very good.
Anyway, I agree, Bung SHOULD definately make a flash rom adapter!
And games companies should definately start selling their games for £15:99.

OK i told someone to look at the topic, in #n64roms and a few people did, and i had one person say some crap about me writing a nasty letter to bung, and someone else say who cares about a flash adaptor when there are only a few games out anyway....

First off, i was in a very good mood when i wrote that email, and i was just pointing out that making this adaptor would be profitable to them and wanted to know if they where working on it....

The someone says someshit about about bung not caring about my lameness, well ya see i dont care what the F**K bung thinks about my lameness, i just wanted to know if they had any plans for such a adaptor, and what i had no intention of buying the games so i was interested in buying a adaptor if they where working on one.

Well yes it is, i think, first off if u think bung gives a rip about sortware piracy haha your mistaken, if they did they would make there products for sale on a liencing bases, to Officel Developers only or make then not work with roms that where ripped off retail carts... Also Bung makes most of there money for people like me that pirate n64 games, it not that i wouldnt buy a n64 game, but i am not loaded with cash like this person seems to be, i cant just run right out and buy any cart i want, and most n64 games suck anyway and i wouldnt waste the money on half of them....

You people that think i was bitching that bung dont hurry up are mistaken, and if u think i was trying to sound leet, well hehe i could have said what groups i am in and my hookups to sound cool, and o ya i got some that would make ya drool, but that in its self would be braging and sound lame, my point that u seemed to have missed was that i would buy there adaptor if they make it cuz i need it to save falsh saves, and the reason i would buy it is cuz i wouldnt buy a n64 game when i can get it free, and cant afford to buy then anyway,

Even if only 2 games ever came out i like that used flash saves, it would buy the adaptor just for those 2, i mean the adaptor would be cheaper then those 2 games, right there, and if the Big N came out with a new save, and used it in more then 2 or so games i wanted bad, and bung made a save, i would get that adaptor, too, cheaper then buying the games, and like i said, i aint rich, so hey, i do what i got to do.....

O and from what i hear, and i was talking to some of the ops in #n64roms, some that have bung backup units, seems they all would buy a flash save over buying the games too, just for the shear fact they can get the games free...

I would buy the Flash Rom adaptor. Why the hell not? Because if you ARE backing up your originals, you can't play your BACKUPS without the Flash Rom adaptor anyway!

I hope they make one for the v64 jr as well.

A Flash-ROM card, I presume similar to DX-256 or DS-1, would be too expensive, especially if you expect it to have multiple 1 mega-bit chips.

I have sent bung two e mails about this problum it seems to me that they dont give a fuck im sorry to be so crude about this but i bought four back up units one for myself. and i got the other three for close friends
and i was happy. then came the ds1. no prob it was worth the cash but now it dont look like there is going to be a flash rom adaptor.there probably aint going to be a 512 doctor v64 which is total bollox because my mates aint got pc.s so how are they supposed to load roms without a cd rom back up unit. i just hope that bung bring out a 512 doctor and a flash rom adaptor but the responses ive had from them dont look to promising. it looks like i`ve been let down by bung and so have a lot of other people.

O and for the guy that said it would cost to much, and I wouldnt want to pay it, umm ya I would... If it cost 200 bucks, and there where more then 200 dollers in n64 games that used this type of save, i would buy it.. Not that i am saying it would or wouldnt cost that much, what i am saying is if this adaptor was checper then buying all the games i want that use this type of save, i would get the adaptor over buying each cart, as i dont have the cash to buy each cart i want..... This is just my opintion tho, everyone is free to make there own....

ok, first off let me say i agree with kdogg and various other posts here, bung obviously don't give a shit about making a flash rom save cart or maybe they cant....(yeah right)....if the software houses made a slightly different way of accessing the flash rom on each title they would have to make a different cart each time which would be both time consuming and costly......

let me put it this way bung have released some of the best products in the back up scene for a number of years now, if u owned bung and knew how many units of an item u could sell (which i am sure they r aware of from doctor 64 and ds1 sales) and it was financially and technically viable u would releae the product, so lets all get off their case and maybe they will get on with manufacturing a flash rom save cart and a 512k doctor v64..

by the way kdogg please dont stereotype english peoples accents, they change vastly from area to area, im from sheffield and live in liverpool and my accent differs vastly to the people that live here and also the way i talk and i only need travel a few mile and the accent will change vastly again.
