DS1 questions

OK I'm new to the ds1 so if these questions seem dumb, forgive me!

OK I can save with dk64 on my ds1 but can I then copy the contents of the ds1 to a mempak with blackbag.

Also Is there a problem with the dk64 patch, on relicroms it says titanik is working on a new patch, is this true?
