The N64 scene is shite

Fe why?

1) This group war bollocks. Now, I appreciate what the groups do, taking time to upload our games, but arguing about it? Come on, this is the saddest, gayest thing I've ever seen. All these IRC logs are fucking bollocks of the first degree. Stop it. Now.

2) N64 games- in the past year, we have seen some shit. A few gems, but mostly shit. The N64 just does inferior PC ports these days, and if not that, ANOTHER fucking 3D platformer. where's the originality, the innovation that Nintendo were once synonymous with?

3) Why does all N64 piracy (if I'm allowed to say that) revolve around Titanik and Hotblack? I can't code anything, but why don't these people who come on here asking for cracks fucking learn how to do it themselves?

4) I've only owned a Z64 for about 4 months, but I've found the N64 scene to be the most inaccessable of all scenes. Everyone seems so hostile to newcomers, and so fucking cryptic (what's all this 777733tttssdd7 bollocks?) True, I've got pissed off at people for asking for the JFG crack for the 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000th time, but when you start, it is bewildering. Someone did a FAQ, could we have it somewhere easy to see? On the front somewhere? Would be good for all concerned.

Yeah, that's it. It's not all bad though, I've seen some nice insights into N64 gaming on this forum, which is nice.

I agree that the net based N64 back-up scene is extremely bewildering at first to the newcomer - when I first started I feared posting in case I was ridiculed, however I soon realised that it only takes a little common sense to get by.

Download programs, try them out, read previous forums, read FAQs.

Don't come straight on here and say "Hi, I've just bought a Z64, how do I get Zelda to work?", it doesn't work that way.

If you REALLY want to play a game, or have already played one and though it was good, go down the shops and fucking buy it you leeches! Don't just collect ROM after ROM without putting a little something back.

A Nintendo 64 game isn´t worth 600-800 SEK
None game is worth the prices the resellers take for the game, perhaps on a dreamcast, but i´ve never played Dreamcast (yet)
But i will buy a Dreamcast, when there is a simple way to copy the games http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/wink.gif
