Do roms with cracks applied that run fine on a V64, run the same on a V64jr?

WT_Riker - I know you have posted a few times, but with a V64Jr and DS-1 what carts are best to have? What about if you also get a DX-256? Is there a good guide on any sites to what type of save each game uses? I thought that info was on Dextrose, but I thought some posts here said it's not all accurate. Thanks

Anything that works on the V64 will work on the V64jr. (Appart from send tools and the like).

If you have a V64jr and a DS1, also get a :

4kbit EEPROM bootcart, with the Mario-Type CIC/bootcode; ie: Mario64, Goldeneye, etc
16kbit EEPROM bootcart, with the Mario-Type CIC/bootcode; ie: Pod Racer
"Flash" Chip bootcart with the Mario-Type CIC/bootcode; ie: Command and Conquer
32Kbytes SRAM, handled by the DS1.

All that leaves is the Controller Pak (or Mempak).

Use Evek to send and receive SRAM/EEPROM saves with the V64jr.

And yes, I have posted on the same topic before; the search engine should show that. http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yep, all I have is:

PAL N64
v64jr
PAL C&C
PAL GoldenEye
PAL Pod Racer
A DS1
Controller Pak

And I can play and save all types of games, I don't even have to remove the DS1 from inbetween GoldenEye and a v64jr to allow access to the 4kbit EEPROM.

ch1mp: Thats cause accessing EEPROM is rather different to accessing SRAM; How nice of N to make life easy for once... http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/wink.gif
