Ignore the stupid interpretation of the question in the topic: I do know what a transfer pak is, (just making a joke on a classic TV advert I'm sure noone else remembers).
Sorry, the real question. Does anyone know the actual process the transfer pak uses. Is the GB battery file copied to the EEP/flashrom and then pokémon stadium, mario golf, etc have a routine programmed to extract the data; or does the GB save a pre-designated portion of its save in a particular position of the SRAM, and the N64 game will always access that part alone using the transfer pak?
