Possible patches?

I was wondering if anyone could supply me with 2 or 3 ips patches that could fix\upgrade some of these dumps. Maybe someone could put them up here at Dextrose.

1. Good dump of NASCAR 99 (USA), in other words IPS convert NASCAR 99 (U)<AGS-NCAR>[237] to NASCAR 99 (U) (!).

2. Uncracked version of Star Fox 64 (USA). Make an IPS patch that would change current dump, Star Fox 64 (U) (cracked)<MSFTUG34>[049], to Star Fox 64 (U) (!).

3. An IPS patch that would upgrade Cruis'n USA (U) (V1.0) (!) to Cruis'n USA (U) (V1.1) (!).

It's probably a lot, but I'm sure I am not the only one who would be interested in some of these. Thanks.

Well the original dump of Nascar 99 that was released by Aggression was trained. The new dump supposedly proves that it was hacked.

If you're unsure about any of the dumps, be sure to get GoodN64 by Cowering.

This is crap, the orginal release of Nascar 99 was NOT release trained...

I did hear that it was released with a AGS *INTRO* attached but when I checked my version it had no intro or trainer..

I assume that some bright spark has added a trainer/intro and re-spread the ROM as the orgianl.

That what you get with EmuLamers in the scene (hello TC) Also while we are on the topic, GoodN64 will never appear on dextrose while I'm in charge (all hail your evil dictator) as it's a Emulater untility... and no I dont care what you think, I'm right...

Hold on, if it looks like I'm endorsing GoodN64, you're mistaking me. RedboX, I have a lot of respect for you and it's your decision as whether or not to have that utility here. I couldn't agree with you more as the last time I checked this was a game copier based website.

As for NASCAR 99, I meant AGS intro, had too much on my mind I guess. I checked my AGS dump and I did't see any intro or trainer either. That's why I posted to begin with because it doesn't make any sense. I just wanted to do a check between the new dump and the original. That's why I was hoping for an IPS patch to put the stupid issue to rest.

cowering doesn't even own a n64 copier, and you are using a util claiming so and so roms needs patches when most roms he uses came from webpages? i think all those utils are lame for those so called "collectors" i find it strange when ppl collect stuff they can't even play.

Wow has my topic changed to GoodN64 and Cowering? I never intended it to be. I was basicly seeking a second opinion with NASCAR 99. I just used that utility as an example.

Someone is apparently redumping some of those questionable carts. I just wanted some info, fixes, or what not. I am not a collector. I am not one of those greedy people that has to have them all. I am a gamer who just happens to want perfect "exact" dumps of specific games. In other words, unhacked, uncracked, and original to the actual game.

Update: NASCAR 99 is good. Stupid GoodN64 wanted a larger size of it. You can change it with Rtool from 96 to 128 and it will like it. This of course is dumb since it is supposed to be 96.

RedboX, please delete this topic to possibly avoid further confusion. I'll make a new post without NASCAR 99 or GoodN64 references.

It's all my fault. Never again will I accept a stupid utility for what I thought was right in the first place.

The only trouble you will have is when you go on holiday for a month and then try to catch up with sites that have gone down etc..

I thought this post would have been deleted by now. Oh well, I did find the Star Fox IPS patch on Dextrose and finally got it to work correctly.

The only thing left is an IPS patch that would upgrade Cruis'n USA V1.0 to Cruis'n USA V1.1. Is it possible that someone could make one and put it up here on Dextrose? Hope it's not too much trouble. Thanks.
