Can't get Doraemon working on NTSC !!

well my screen stays black as I try playing
it on NTSC z64 ???

does anybody knows why ??

Doraemon 3 is a Jap game so I am assuming that you might need a country fix for it. (sometimes not though)

The problem could also be that it needs a 16k eeprom to save (swep1 for example). Apparently it is a standard boot chip.
