How can I switch the cart with something else? Do you have to take apart the cart and switch whatevers in it?

yes you can swap the cics and the save chips if you like 4k and 16k eeproms are the same size although you cannot do this with flash ram chips (about a inch long i think)

Is there anywhere I can go to read a document of how to do that? Because I am new at modifying carts. I've had my z64 for about a year but just used revenge and mario.

Well, I live in Switzerland, it's a big problem... we can't get any used US cart here ar a reasonable price !!

I heard there is also another game we can use ??

Well anyway, if I use something else than an US cart, it won't probably run as I have a jap N64 !!!

Yes, you can also use Ridge Racer to boot/save 16kbit EEPROM. Seen as Mario Tennis is 6101/16kbit EEPROM you could use it too, but that would defeat the object... http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

If you can't get hold of the US/Jap ver cart, get the PAL one and swap the CIC inside for a US one (whoops... sorry luna, I did it again http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/biggrin.gif)

Or if you can't get hold of RR64 or Pod Racer at all, see if you can any of the following (any ver - US/Jap/PAL) and swap the CIC for a US/Jap 6101 - should work fine (original modified game on its own won't though).

-Yoshi's Story
-Cruisin' World (think it's 6101 already, but not sure)
-ExciteBike 64 (may be expensive... pretty new)
-Perfect Dark (as above)
-DK64
-Doremon 3 (some racing game I think... see the SceneNews service, it was dumped recently).
-Some others I can't remember http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

... or just do the same as ^TeR^RoR^ and swap the insides of one of your old carts with a Blockbuster Pod Racer/RR64 http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
