I'm using an dr V64 on a pal machine, I patched the game with the palfix done by Acy (I think he was), and, due to the frequency difference between pal and ntsc machines (I suppose), the music sounds a little bit sooner than it should. That causes a tiny problem, music doesn't fit the moment you must hit the buttons to follow the rythm. This tiny "bug" makes confusing the game, because if you hit the buttons following the sound, you'll always hit the buttons too soon (just a moment), so it would be careless if you play it without sound, that really disapoints me. Anyone else noticed the same problem??
Anyway, the game is as funny as it seemed to be, my nephews really enjoy it a lot http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

The games works perfectly with the pad, by hitting the c buttons concretely.
And yes, without the coordination of the music and the image, the game isn't so good as it should, but i'm sure it's for the mentioned problem, the pal/ntsc frequency difference.
So, anyone else noticed it?

yeah I remember this on the snes the music must play at the sme speed but because of the 50/60hz difference the gameplay is slowed down by aproxamatly 17.5% so there you go. Usually on the n64 it causes distortion. Why not try using paladin to fix the country check instead of converting the videotables with the patch. I play all my roms in the original video mode but on a pal n64 its no problem as long as your tv can display a 60hz signal
