I was at Electronics Boutique here in Ohio the other day and they had Conker in a cool box with some extra stuff in it. I think like a T-Shirt and cup or something. I'll pay up to $100 for this kit if anyone can get it for me. I'm sure this (or another store) is where the rom came from. I don't have a Jr. but I'm downloading the rom now for some strange reason. It's almost done now.. 80% downloaded. Been 3 days now w/ my 56K modem.. on and off with GetRight.

Anyway how do the stores get these display games before they are out? Straight from Nintendo or is it a distributor? I think I'm going to walk to Nintendo HQ right now and get one from them... I work at a small 5 store chain family-owned video game store and my boss can NEVER get any demo type N64 games.

Thats exactly why he cant get them, its only a few store chain...

Tell your boss to open about 500 to a 1000 more stores, and then buy SHIT HOUSES of Nintendo products. They would prolly be more then glad to hook him up with demo games then.

Stores like EB have had Conker for a while now. But doesn't the game go on sale in just a few days? Why waste $40 just to get it a few days earlier?

Oh, sorry, didn't notice the date of the original message. I feel kind of stupid now. http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/tongue.gif Anyway, it seems Conker is already out, the release date was the 5th.

IGN64 said the game lasts only about 15 hours or so.

Just rent it

I've spent a lot more than 15 hours on the game, maybe if you know exactly what your doing, and skipped all the cut scenes it whould only last 15hours.

Since when are games mesured in the amount of time it takes? surely games should be messured in how much FUN you get from them.

Imagine how quickly you could finish Super Mario World missing all the secret/hidden parts, then think about how much fun you have finding all those hidden levels and stuff.

Yeh, and B-K took me about 11 hours to complete and that felt like a long experience to me seeing as it was spread out over whatever spare time I had after work...

The "non-backupmachine-days"... soon to happen again...

I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad. For some unknown reason I miss playing a game to death.

The "non-backupmachine-days" happening again? What are you talking about?

I don't see any lack of PS2 cracks, plus Microsoft will be soon selling their Windows-PC-in-a-box, and don't tell me that no one is going to hack that.

Sorry for the confusion, but I was talking about quality gaming systems. http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/wink.gif

Believe me, there will be a backup unit for the GBA.
