Yesss.... I bought this game from local Babbage's for $59.99 and they gave me free T-shirt. I love this game and T-shirt is pretty awsome. It shows Conker taking nap in the toilet bowl.

I have Z64 and I know there no way in the hell I can play this game without the actual cartridge. I recommend everyone (who don't have V64jr 512) to go buy one. It's worth every penny you paid.

Many of us are waiting the european release...
It's a pity that it won't come translated, but also, coming only in english causes an much, much earlier release..... just one month!!!
Anyway, if it wasn't 512, I'd also buy this one, it's definitively worth buying, and those guys at rare really deserve it

Regards,

Xotet

By the way.... we should help this MATURE game buying it, and show Nintendo what we expect from the Gamecube, don't you think so?

Just bought it too. It's pricey, but worth it.
I LOVE THIS GAME! It's so tongue-in-cheek and
self-aware. Awesome! This year's Perfect Dark
(i.e. If you only buy one game this year...)

Anyone notice how much heavier the cartridge
is compared to other N64 games?

...Sean.

Why? Translations often are crap. Much of the humor gets lost through bad translation.

Easy and simple, there are many people that, due to their minimum english knowledge, will miss all the fun behind the texts, or simply won't buy it because of that, get it?

I agree. We all should buy this game and show how important it is to have more M-rated games specially for GameCube.

When I think of GameCube, all I see is Eaternal Darkness. Yesss.. it is headed to GCN and I will be the first in line to buy it.

Yeh that's the erm... original Aztec name for it... or something.
Either that or blame BT's stupid phone lines for distorting the carrier pigeon.

I know some German: "die katzen!" (much funnier when you don't know german articles)

"die die die die" ...

and i won't get into the little french that i remember...i'd get into trouble with my wife, but if anyone needs to know a few horribly multilated pick-up lines in french, let me know.

you should play Wolfenstein 3D to learn some german: "Halt, Ami... Arghhh"
or how about Medal of honor: "Du hast meinen Kameraden erschossen!" http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

On my TV out card for Argentina/Brazil and a few of the others the output standard is PAL.

Where did you read that at? I've been dying for some info on this game and I feared that it might have been cancelled. I'm looking forward to Eternal Darkness more than anything else.

Spose it's just an 'educated' guess... It's unlikely to be coming for N64, and no point just throwing it all in the bin...

True, but it happens all the time. Take Soul Reaver 2 for example. I think the game was basically done, but that didn't stop Eidos from cancelling the DC version. Same thing could easily happen with Eternal Darkness. http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/mad.gif

Yeh admittedly that situation was shitty to the extreme, but Silicon Knights are a Nintendo second party, so it's more likely the game will turn up on GC to kill off Micro$oft... hopefully... and I liked SK's comments in the story on IGN today btw :)

Why do bitch about Eternal Darkness? (unless you have the 512jr) majority of us are 256Mb "backup" system owners and the only way you play this game was by actual cartridge or 512jr which I personally don't have it. I've rather have a better looking game on better system since either way I end up paying for the game http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/smile.gif I hoped for Conker: BFD to show up on GCN but oh well we will see the sequels to it.

Where do I bitch about it coming out for the GC? I would be perfectly fine with that. My problem is there is no indication what system it's for or even if they are still working on it. I just want some information. Sometimes Nintendo takes the secrecy thing too far.

Nintendo didn't announced anything because they want to give a big surprise at E3. Everything will be unviled. On other side look at Microsoft. They had their Gamestock last week and they completely blew it off. There was nothing impressive and there was not a big media coverage for that event. I mean now everyone know what M$ is working on and there won't be any surprises at E3 from M$. So I like the Nintendo Idea of secrecy. Imagine a big blast at E3 beginning with Resident Evil killer Eternal Darkness footage that just make your jaw drop on floor.

Well, if I don't see Eternal Darkness running on either a N64 or GC this E3, I cannot be held responsible for my actions ...

I bought it today, and while I cried as all those repressed memories of shelling out bucks for cartridges came flooding back, when I got home I poped it in. Its the best game I've ever played. Everything about it is great, and putting it in surround makes it even better. I felt like I was 10 again, trying to call all my friends and let them listen to the game (I know u guys did that when u were lil) I couldn't stop laughing, but I'm not used to the platforming thing. I collect the games, but I don't really play em. I've been getting sloppy.
