Zelda Doctor Crack ?

A simple question. I own a 32meg Doc 64 and can run Zelda 64 via the Bootcrack provided by CZN. I know that I can't save without the DS1. Can anyone tell me whether CZN's forthcoming crack for the Doctor will allow me to save Zelda without having to buy the DS1. I normally just use the SRAM manager 2 to save games.

Does anyone also know when the crack will be released ?
