Then i thought Nintendo of Australia wanted to do Gold Editions of PAL ZElda's with the release. Didn't they ?

To the uninformed among us...

There are many Gold carts for sale in Australia. Most retailers hundreds of carts six months in advance in anticipation of a quick christmas dollar, and as a result all of the carts I have personally seen for sale have been GOLD.

They were on sale everywhere on Thursday 17 Dec 1998.
