Well i guess they refer to being bigger in sense of larger worlds, more fun, even better gameplay etc.
I dont think they refer to cartridge size, so
i suppose 256megz will be the maximum unless the ram-prices are cut by 50% or more in the next months .. then we can a) expect games being 512mbit and more and b) upgrade our machines with not that much money.
Well at least i think this is the case on
Z64. Not sure what to do on those V64's custom made rams http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/smile.gif But Bung will surely work something out.

Actraiser: He was talking bigger in ROM Size... An article was posted on the IGN64.Com "Rumor Mill" about Donkey Kong to be the largest game ever in ROM size (larger than Zelda).
Butane: A bit of advice. NEVER take anything said on IGN64.Com, much less anything said on the Rumor Mill on IGN64.Com, as anything but hear-say. IGN64 has a bad habit of announcing something as late breaking news, and then weeks later announcing its non-existance as late breaking news. Metroid 64, Ghouls and Ghosts 64, and Tomb Raider 64 all come to mind. IGN64 confirmed all 3 of these games, only weeks later to announce that each of them wasn't in development, with no mention that they were 100% wrong. So, as I said, don't believe anything said on IGN64.Com as fact.

Here's the rumour from IGN64:
"I've picked up on a little piece of news that may interest the Donkey Kong starved. According to what a totally-unrelated third-party developer which has probably never even had any contact with Rare tells me, DK64 is on schedule to be the biggest N64 game yet. And I'm talking about cartridge size here. Expect it to arrive on a cart bigger than Zelda's."

Well Draft, thanks for posting that.
Reads like, a friend of a friend's wife's friend said that.........
Maybe they are just talking about a bigger external cart size, rather than the ram...at any rate, it's not my type of game.
