VRally Pal->Ntsc

Some ppl asked me to do this fix...
But it seems as if PALadin does it

"PALadin /n <romname>"

What's the problem?

PALadin works, however the sound is crackly and the voices are sped up about 2 fold.

Well, the game works fine on my NTSC Console
without any fixes. Sound is okay.

Why should i apply a NTSC fix ?
Does the game become faster ( from 50 to
60 hz ) ?

I am experiencing the same problems as Fab. Also, lines are missing from the bottom.

I'd really like to know the difference of your hardware...

Why does it work for one and not for the other???
Could you find that out (e.g post your hw-settings)

Hardware-Setting should include the TV-Set-Quality o assume (capable of doing PAL, etc)

I am using an NTSC ONLY Television with NTSC Nintendo 64 with a Doctor V64. Without PALadin the sound is fine, but there are lines missing at the bottom. With PALadin, the missing lines are fixed but the sound is filled with clicks and seems sped up.

I am using a SONY NTSC only TV with a NTSC Nintendo 64. Z64 is HW1 with 1.12a bios. I am also experiencing all the same symptons as fab has described in his second e-mail.

Let me get this right...

Without paladin the video and sound is ok but some lines are missing.

With Paladin /n video is ok , lines are ok but sound is bad and speed up?

Hotblack, it seems that we are confusing you. Here is exactly what I am experiencing:
I am using a Z64-HW1 with 1.12a bios.NTSC only TV & N64
Without PAladin V2: Video flickers, Sound OK
With PALadin V2:Video stabalizes, lines are missing at the bottom and sound "clicks" and speeds up a little.

PALadin /n ???
PALadin or /n /f ???

I used PALadin /n. PALadin /n /f doesn't appear to be necessary.
