When I exit the game, and enters the OSD, i'm asked if I want to update the save record. But the next time I load the game my profile is lost. The save is blank. Is there a patch for this game? I have a US version HW2.0 with bios 2.13

You can save with the current SW Racer if you have a 1024 byte EEPROM in a cart with the "Mario" type security chip. You can pull a 1024 byte EEPROM chip out of Yoshi for example and solder it in a Mario cart in place of it's 512 byte EEPROM. Of course most other games that save to EEPROM won't work with this cart, but that's what the DX256 is for. By the way, this also allows Yoshi and other games that use a 1024 byte EEPROM to properly save.

Also, this game does appear to be final because the one that Nintendo was showing at E3 looked, played, and sounded the same as this and a Nintendo rep that I asked about it (the one on display at the show) said that it was final.

The version release is *NOT* final.

It's the preview version released to several games magazines.

It's missing a whole heap of stuff.

ATO, If you have a cd64 just stick yoshi in your decoder cart and play and save no more than that http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/smile.gif
