I was just wondering, do any of you guys actually buy the original cart if you find you play a game often?
Personally I have had my N64 + V64 for around 2 months and have bought the 2 games I play most often (Bodyharvest and Zelda).
Or maybe I just think to much?

i think, we must support good games (there aren't too many ;-)) and their developers by buying their produkt, games like goldeneye, zelda, aso. so if you play the games really often go to the store and pay for it.
i will never buy games like california speed or other shit like that. but support the others. so there will be some more good games.

Well I personally got my V64 only last August and up until then I had bought 16 carts (can't be bothered to list them but will if you want to). Happens that these games were the only really decent ones on the system since the 2 years it had been out. As far as since I had the V64 is concerned, I've bought 2 games since then, which is a fairly good average, one every 4 months or so, considering I've had bugger all money and there's been nothing really worth £70 to import anyway. I will definitely be pre-ordering and buying Perfect Dark on cart as soon as it's imported from the US though, I can say that for certain.

I bought about 20 carts before I got my Z64. I sold most of them on Classifieds2000. I chose to keep Mario- good boot cart, Zelda- because it's one othe greatest games ever and because it's the gold edition, and Turok- I guess just because it's black. I will buy more carts if they're special colored. I also might buy some of these flash Ram saving games like PS2 and Snap if no one comes up with a solution to save progress in them. Also if more double eeprom games come out and if Titanik can't make a good save fix for them then I'll probably buy Ep 1 Racer to use as a master cart for them.

Before I bought my Z64 about a year ago, I bought just about every game. But I bought the games from Electronics Boutique which means I had ten days to play it and then I could return them for a full refund. http://www.dextrose.com/ubb/smile.gif
I actually owned only 5 cartridges at one time. And no, I haven't purchased any carts scince I got my unit, why dould I do that???

a little offtopic,
but if we make a best game polling section that would reset weekly then the devolpers could see a real good list whats the best game because we can get most of the games so we know best, don't we ?

He was asking if people bought the game after they played it, not before. In short, no.
