The best N64 game is - of course - GoldenEye!
But i also like Zelda and the best Multiplayer game is Mario Party.
Shadowgate64 looks somehow promising, but I haven't played enough yet.

I think it is really hard to say: XXX is the best game for the N64!

I think you have to divide it into categories like racing, sports, platformer, fps, rpg and so on.

And here is the results:
Racing: Its a triple tie between World Driver Championship (realism), Formula 1 World Grand Pix (realism) and Mario Kart (multi player bashing)

Sports: Dont have any opinions here

Platformer: A tie between Mario64 and Banjo Kazooie

FPS: GoldenEye

RPG: Zelda (if you want to call it an rpg) Shadowgate64 looks promising so it gets an "Early-upcomer-award"

I could go on forever, how bout titles like Space Station Silicon Valley, Mario Party, Mario Golf, Tetrisphere, DiddyKong Racing and so on and so on.
